Methodology.
HI-FIT Training(sm). HI-FIT(sm) Stands for High Intensity Functional Integrative Training. The training program combines a weight training protocol that is highly efficient, using one set per bodypart to get better results than the conventional three to four sets per bodypart. This is combined with dynamic exercises on unstable surfaces such as fitballs and balance boards to challenge and strengthen the stabilizer muscles of the body along with improving propioception (internal body awareness and balance). The overall effect is a fit, toned, strong, shapely body that not only looks good, but that you can count on outside the gym. What's more, it is accomplished with only two to three workouts a week.
Mindful Personal Training(sm). Mindful Personal Training(sm) is an approach that focuses on integrating exercise into your life. Many trainers, whether they are aware of it or not, have their own preconceived notion of how a workout should be. This notion may not fit the needs of the client. We create a co-active training environment, where we bring our knowledge and the client brings forth what motivates him/her to make exercise a part of his or her life. Our experience has been that if we don't do that, the client will have a negative association with exercise and will not make a lifelong commitment to better health. After all, good health for life is what it is all about.
